How we handle your information.
This notice explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it and how it is handled. Last updated 29 July 2026.
Who we are
Alis Global Ltd., Maritime Consultancy Services (United Kingdom) and Alis Global Marine Consultancy Services L.L.C-FZ (United Arab Emirates) operate this website together. For anything relating to your personal information, contact us at [email protected] or write to Office 408 Screenworks, 22 Highbury Grove, London, N5 2ER, United Kingdom.
What we collect
If you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive your name, email address and the details of your message. If you register as a candidate through our careers page, we receive your name, email address, the professional details you provide and, if you attach one, your CV.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website, and we do not sell or share your information for marketing.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used to respond to you and to handle the matter you raise. Candidate details and CVs are used to consider you for current and future roles that match your profile, which is why you send them to us. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and on your consent when you submit your CV.
Where your information goes
Form submissions are delivered by email to the relevant Alis Global team mailbox: recruitment and careers submissions to [email protected] and marine services enquiries to [email protected]. Our mailboxes are hosted on Microsoft 365. CV files are attached to that email and are not stored on the web server.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and candidate details for as long as they are needed for the purpose you contacted us about, and no longer. If you would like your details or CV removed from our records at any time, email [email protected] and we will delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. UK data protection law also gives you the right to object to or restrict our use of your information and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we have handled it.
Third-party services
This website is protected and served through Cloudflare and hosted in the United States by our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Pages use Google Fonts, and our contact page embeds a Google Map; when these load, your browser connects to Google, whose own privacy policy applies.
